In 2005, Edison R&D Center, the only R&D center named after the great inventor Thomas Edison, started to explore the Chinese market. Edison (Ningbo) R&D Sub-center was established in Cooper (Ningbo) in 2009.The sub-center has introduced the world’s leading embedded technology, control technology and permanent magnet technology developed by Cooper, which improves the company’s capacity of innovating and leading the medium-voltage switchgear field dramatically. The Company has developed a new generation of intelligent switchgear assembly.

We lay emphasis on technical accumulation and product reserves and further upgrade our original products based on the requirements for intelligent, highly reliable, maintenance free, environmental, low-cost high-voltage transmission and distribution field. We replace the old products and processes with new ones to make our products more novel and environmentally friendly so that they can cater our market demands better and enhance our brand awareness.
